Making a difference in the lives of older adults through health professions education by supporting Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Programs (GWEPs) and Geriatric Education Centers (GECs).  With the rapid growth of the older adult population, there is an urgent need to educate and train health professionals in evidence-based geriatric care. The National Association for Geriatric Education (NAGE) is a non-profit membership organization representing geriatric education centers and other groups and organizations that provide education and training to health professionals in the areas of geriatrics and gerontology. We are dedicated to improving the education, supply, distribution, diversity, and quality of health professionals serving older adults, and to educate policy makers and the public about the need for geriatric education.
